How proud you must be! There's no greater sacrifice! My recently-turned 18 year-old son just enlisted in the Army in May. He's off to boot camp in Fort Knox, Kentucky in August. His decision still hasn't sunk-in with his mother and me, but I know that I'll be the proudest father at his graduation ceremony. ;D Here's a photo of my son, K.C. (on the left), his recruiter, and his best friend (who also joined but will be going to another boot camp location) at their High School graduation. I thought it odd that the recruiter was at my son's graduation...maybe it was to A) make sure they graduated, and B) remind them that they are now Uncle Sam's property!  They'll be leaving as boys...and returning as men.   Bryan, sorry if this topic is in the wrong forum...I just had to reply. |

As a very fortunate citizen of this wonderful free country I thank you and I thank you son and your nephew and all young men and women in Iraq! We have our freedom because of the sacrifices all vets have made. We have an off topic forum in the future, Its no big deal ! Thanks again to the soldiers of the United States of America! We appreciate your efforts!!!!!!!!!
